Stoneway is our longest running and largest program. We promote sensitive, responsive interactions between children and our Registered Early Childhood Educators, that are individual and personal.  Our qualified staff understand the emotional needs and holistic development of children, which inspires them when planning a stimulating and exciting curriculum.   Our high quality care is the result of a combination of a healthy and safe environment together with educational and social stimulation, appropriate to the age and development of our children.  Our educators interact with the children in a nurturing manor that helps create attachments between themselves and the children, the foundation for future social development.

Lady Macdonald Childcare Centre offers quality, licensed care for Toddler and Preschool children. We are located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Bridlewood.  Our program is actively involved in our community. We visit with the older students at Roch Carrier Elementary School; invite community helpers, such as, police officers and firefighters; and have regular visits from a local retirement home. We believe that community involvement is one of the best ways for children to become valuable contributors to their surroundings.  This helps foster a sense of pride and leadership as they grow!

We follow the children’s lead when it comes to planning our activities. We immerse ourselves in educational and fun projects lead by the children.  We welcome you to book a tour so you can see the lovely activities and program planning for yourself! Our walls are filled with pictures and display panels of the children immersed in their environment. We are certain you will feel at home with the delicious aroma of healthy, homemade meals coming from the kitchen and our natural décor that features many natural elements, such as beautiful plants, burlap, stones and wood work! Our outdoor environment is equally as inviting with plenty of green space providing opportunities for gross motor, dramatic play, and our gardens offer the children the opportunity to grow vegetables and plants while learning to care for them!
